These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between owninvest (the “Company”) and users in connection with the use of the owninvest service (the “Service”).
For service use, account deletion, or other inquiries, users may contact us through:

The Company provides features that help users explore and review investment-related information, including news, stock search and AI analysis, financial and price information, and backtesting tools.
Financial data and content provided by the Service may be based on, or processed from, public disclosures, exchange or market data, public sources, and third-party data providers related to US-listed companies.
The Company may change features, data coverage, delivery methods, screens, and usage conditions to improve or operate the Service.
Users may use the Service through methods provided by the Company, including Google, Apple, Kakao, email sign-in, or guest access.
Failures, policy changes, or account restrictions of third-party sign-in providers are governed by those providers' own policies and operations.
Users must not misuse another person's account, interfere with service operations, repeatedly send abusive inquiries, or collect data using automated methods.
Users must not hack, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, overload the Service, submit false information, use the Service for illegal purposes, or infringe third-party rights.
Materials within the Service are provided for personal and non-commercial use only.
Users may not commercially exploit, redistribute, resell, reproduce, republish, or database the materials without prior permission from the Company.
Scraping, crawling, and automated collection are also prohibited.
1. All metrics and analytical results within the Service are derived and processed from US-listed public data using the Company's proprietary algorithms.
2. While we strive to ensure accuracy and timeliness, errors or discrepancies may occur due to processing methods, errors in source data, or transmission delays. Information may differ from official financial statements or real-time market data.
3. AI analysis, automatically calculated metrics, backtesting, simulations, stock search results, news summaries, and interpretations are provided for general informational and reference purposes only. They are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security, financial product, timing, or strategy.
4. The Company does not review or reflect each user's investment objectives, financial condition, investment experience, risk preference, tax situation, or legal circumstances.
5. Past performance, backtesting results, statistical values, metric changes, and AI analysis do not guarantee future returns or avoidance of losses.
6. Information in the Service may not be real-time market data or official investment decision material and may be delayed, omitted, incorrect, interrupted, or corrected.
7. Users should verify source disclosures, official financial statements, exchange data, and professional advice before making investment decisions.
8. Users are solely responsible for their investment decisions and outcomes.
The Company may modify or suspend part or all of the Service for operational or technical reasons.
The Company is not responsible for service failures or damages caused by events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, telecommunications failures, server failures, third-party API or data provider failures, app store or platform policy changes, user device or network issues, or unlawful acts of third parties.
Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company, the Company is not liable for use or inability to use the Service, data errors, investment decisions, lost opportunities, business losses, indirect damages, special damages, or consequential damages.
External links, third-party services, and third-party materials are the responsibility of their providers, and the Company does not guarantee their accuracy, legality, or stability.
Users may request account deletion through the in-app account deletion feature, by email (support@owninvest.net), or through the in-app 1:1 inquiry feature.
The Company may restrict service access if a user violates these Terms, sends abusive inquiries, or engages in fraudulent or improper use.
When an account is deleted, the authentication account and inquiry data directly managed by the Company may be deleted. Required consent history and guest notice acceptance history may be separately retained for five years after account deletion as minimal information, such as user identifier (uid), consent/notice type, version, and acceptance time, to prove consent or acceptance, handle disputes, comply with applicable laws, prevent fraud, and maintain security. If a related dispute, investigation, or legal obligation continues, the information may be retained until that reason ends.
The Company may amend these Terms due to applicable laws, service policies, feature changes, or operational needs.
If a material change or a change unfavorable to users occurs, the Company will provide notice before the effective date through in-app screens, notices, or other reasonable methods.
If users do not agree to amended Terms, they may stop using the Service and request account deletion. Continued use of the Service after the amended Terms take effect may be deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.

회사는 뉴스, 종목 검색 및 AI 분석, 재무 및 주가정보, 백테스팅 기능 등 투자 관련 정보 탐색과 참고를 돕는 기능을 제공합니다.
본 서비스가 제공하는 금융 데이터와 콘텐츠는 미국 상장 기업의 공시 자료, 거래소·시장 데이터, 공공 자료, 외부 데이터 제공자 자료 등을 원천으로 하거나 이를 가공한 자료일 수 있습니다.
회사는 서비스 품질 개선을 위해 기능, 데이터 범위, 제공 방식, 화면 구성, 이용 조건을 변경할 수 있습니다.
이용자는 Google, Apple, Kakao, 이메일 로그인 또는 게스트 이용 등 회사가 제공하는 수단을 통해 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다.
외부 로그인 수단의 장애, 정책 변경, 계정 제한 등은 해당 외부 서비스의 정책과 운영에 따릅니다.
이용자는 타인의 계정을 도용하거나, 서비스 운영을 방해하거나, 악성 문의를 반복하거나, 자동화된 수단으로 데이터를 수집하는 행위를 해서는 안 됩니다.
이용자는 서비스를 해킹, 역설계, 우회 접근, 과도한 요청, 허위 정보 입력, 불법 목적 또는 제3자의 권리 침해 목적으로 이용해서는 안 됩니다.
서비스 내 자료는 개인적·비상업적 이용만 허용됩니다.
이용자는 회사의 사전 허락 없이 자료를 상업적으로 이용하거나, 재배포, 재판매, 전재, 복제, 데이터베이스화하여서는 안 됩니다.
스크래핑, 크롤링, 자동수집도 금지됩니다.
1. 서비스 내 제공되는 지표와 분석 결과는 미국 상장 기업의 공공 자료를 회사의 자체적인 알고리즘으로 가공한 정보입니다.
2. 데이터의 정확성과 적시성을 위해 최선을 다하지만, 가공 과정에서의 오차, 원천 데이터의 오류, 또는 업데이트 지연 등으로 인해 실제 수치나 공식 재무제표와 일부 차이가 있을 수 있습니다.
3. AI 분석, 자동 계산 지표, 백테스팅, 시뮬레이션, 종목 검색 결과, 뉴스 요약 및 해석은 일반적인 정보 제공 및 참고 목적이며 특정 금융상품, 종목, 매매 시점, 투자 전략에 대한 매수·매도·보유 추천이 아닙니다.
4. 회사는 이용자의 투자 목적, 재산 상태, 투자 경험, 위험 선호도, 세금·법률 상황 등 개별 사정을 확인하거나 반영하지 않습니다.
5. 과거 수익률, 백테스팅 결과, 통계값, 지표 변화, AI 분석 결과는 미래 수익이나 손실 회피를 보장하지 않습니다.
6. 서비스 내 정보는 실시간 시세 또는 공식 투자 판단 자료가 아닐 수 있으며, 지연, 누락, 오류, 중단, 정정이 발생할 수 있습니다.
7. 이용자는 투자 판단 전에 원천 공시, 공식 재무제표, 거래소 자료, 전문가 의견 등 독립적인 자료를 확인해야 합니다.
8. 투자 판단과 그 결과에 대한 모든 책임은 이용자 본인에게 있습니다.
회사는 운영상 또는 기술상 필요에 따라 서비스의 일부 또는 전부를 변경하거나 중단할 수 있습니다.
회사는 천재지변, 통신 장애, 서버 장애, 외부 API 또는 데이터 제공자의 장애, 앱스토어·플랫폼 정책 변경, 이용자 기기 또는 네트워크 문제, 제3자의 불법 행위 등 회사의 합리적 통제 범위를 벗어난 사유로 인한 서비스 장애 또는 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.
회사는 고의 또는 중대한 과실이 없는 한 서비스 이용 또는 이용 불가, 데이터 오류, 투자 판단, 기회 손실, 영업 손실, 간접손해, 특별손해, 결과적 손해에 대해 책임을 부담하지 않습니다.
외부 링크, 외부 서비스, 제3자 자료의 정확성, 적법성, 안정성은 해당 제공자의 책임 영역이며 회사가 보증하지 않습니다.
이용자는 앱 내 계정 삭제 기능, 이메일(support@owninvest.net), 또는 앱 내 1:1 문의를 통해 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다.
회사는 약관 위반, 악성 문의, 부정 이용이 확인되는 경우 서비스 이용을 제한할 수 있습니다.
계정 삭제 시 인증 계정과 회사가 직접 관리하는 문의 데이터는 삭제될 수 있습니다. 필수 약관 동의 이력 및 게스트 고지 확인 이력은 동의 또는 확인 사실 증명, 분쟁 대응, 법령 준수, 부정 이용 방지, 보안 유지를 위해 사용자 식별값(uid), 동의/고지 종류, 버전, 동의·확인 시각 등 최소 정보로 계정 삭제 후 5년간 별도 보관될 수 있습니다. 다만 관련 분쟁, 수사, 법령상 의무가 계속되는 경우 해당 사유가 종료될 때까지 보관될 수 있습니다.
회사는 관련 법령, 서비스 정책, 기능 변경, 운영상 필요에 따라 약관을 변경할 수 있습니다.
회사는 중요한 변경 또는 이용자에게 불리한 변경이 있는 경우 적용일 전 앱 내 화면, 공지사항 또는 기타 합리적인 방법으로 고지합니다.
이용자가 변경 약관에 동의하지 않는 경우 서비스 이용을 중단하고 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 변경 약관 시행 후 서비스를 계속 이용하는 경우 변경 약관에 동의한 것으로 볼 수 있습니다.
본 약관 버전은 2026.v3입니다.
- Sign-in and account identification information: email address, user identifier (uid), sign-in provider information, and identifiers provided through external sign-in providers such as Apple or Kakao
- Guest use information: Firebase anonymous user identifier (uid), whether the guest notice was accepted, its version, and acceptance time
- When using the 1:1 inquiry feature: inquiry content, inquiry timestamp, and status information needed to process the inquiry
- Information that may be stored locally on the device: favorite symbols, saved strategy information, language/theme settings, and certain cached data
- Required consent history: whether the user agreed to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, their versions, and the time of consent
- Service usage and analytics information: screen views, app launches, error handling information, device/app environment, and service usage logs that may be processed by Firebase Analytics or related Firebase services
- Kakao sign-in processing information: Kakao access token, Kakao user identifier, and email address. The access token is used for server-side authentication to issue a Firebase authentication token.

- Guest user identification and management of guest notice acceptance history
- Service provision and access control
- Providing custom analytical metrics based on US-listed public data
- Responding to 1:1 inquiries and user support
- Maintaining customer support history
- Responding to abusive inquiries and fraudulent or improper use
- Service improvement, statistical analysis, error handling, and security management
- External sign-in integration and issuance of Firebase authentication tokens
In principle, we retain personal information until the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled.
Account information is retained until membership withdrawal or account deletion. Guest accounts may be deleted when the user logs out in the app or account deletion is processed.
Required consent history and guest notice acceptance history may be retained for five years after account deletion as minimal information, such as user identifier (uid), consent/notice type, version, and acceptance time, to prove consent or acceptance, handle disputes, comply with applicable laws, prevent fraud, and maintain security. If a related dispute, investigation, or legal obligation continues, the information may be retained until that reason ends.
1:1 inquiry data may be retained until the user deletes the in-app conversation or, even after the inquiry purpose has been completed, to the extent necessary for dispute handling, fraud prevention, and customer support history management.
Service usage logs and analytics information may be retained according to Firebase or other external service retention policies and for the period necessary for service improvement and security.
Even if account deletion is completed through the in-app feature or through a separate request, some data stored in the device's local storage may not be deleted automatically and may require app deletion or direct user cleanup.
To provide authentication, data storage, customer support, analytics, and error handling, we may use the following external services:
- Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Analytics
- Google Sign-In
- Apple Sign-In
- Kakao Login and Kakao user information APIs
These external service providers may process personal information in connection with providing the Service, and server locations or processing locations may include regions outside Korea according to each provider's infrastructure policies.
We operate the Service while considering the security and privacy policies of external providers, but failures, policy changes, and processing methods of those external services may be governed by the providers' own responsibilities.
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, as well as account deletion. Requests may be submitted through:

Users may delete inquiry data through the in-app conversation deletion feature, and such deletion may also be reflected in the records retained for operational purposes.
Personal information will be deleted without undue delay once the retention period expires or the processing purpose has been achieved.
Electronic files will be deleted in a manner designed to make recovery difficult. However, information may be separately retained for a necessary period where required by applicable law or where there is a legitimate reason such as dispute handling, fraud prevention, or security maintenance.

- 카카오 로그인 처리 정보: 카카오 access token, 카카오 사용자 식별값, 이메일 주소. access token은 Firebase 인증 토큰 발급을 위한 서버 인증 처리에 사용됩니다.

회사는 원칙적으로 개인정보를 수집·이용 목적 달성 시까지 보유합니다.
계정 정보는 회원 탈퇴 또는 계정 삭제 시까지 보관됩니다. 게스트 계정은 앱 내 로그아웃 또는 계정 삭제 처리 시 삭제될 수 있습니다.
필수 약관 동의 이력 및 게스트 고지 확인 이력은 동의 또는 확인 사실 증명, 분쟁 대응, 법령 준수, 부정 이용 방지, 보안 유지를 위해 계정 삭제 후 5년간 사용자 식별값(uid), 동의/고지 종류, 버전, 동의·확인 시각 등 최소 정보로 별도 보관될 수 있습니다. 다만 관련 분쟁, 수사, 법령상 의무가 계속되는 경우 해당 사유가 종료될 때까지 보관될 수 있습니다.
1:1 문의 데이터는 이용자가 앱 내 대화방 삭제 기능으로 삭제하기 전까지 또는 문의 처리 목적 달성 후에도 분쟁 대응, 부정 이용 방지, 고객 응대 이력 관리를 위해 필요한 범위 내에서 일정 기간 보관될 수 있습니다.
서비스 이용 로그 및 분석 정보는 Firebase 등 외부 서비스의 보관 정책과 회사의 서비스 개선·보안 목적에 필요한 기간 동안 보관될 수 있습니다.
계정 삭제가 앱 내 기능 또는 별도 요청을 통해 진행되더라도, 기기 내부 로컬 저장소에 저장된 일부 데이터(예: 즐겨찾기, 저장 전략, 설정, 캐시)는 자동으로 삭제되지 않을 수 있으며, 앱 삭제 또는 이용자의 직접 정리가 필요할 수 있습니다.
회사는 서비스 제공, 인증, 데이터 저장, 고객지원, 통계 분석, 오류 대응을 위해 다음 외부 서비스를 사용할 수 있습니다.

위 외부 서비스 제공자는 서비스 제공 과정에서 개인정보를 처리할 수 있으며, 서버 위치와 처리 장소는 해당 제공자의 인프라 운영 정책에 따라 대한민국 외 지역을 포함할 수 있습니다.
회사는 외부 서비스 제공자의 보안 및 개인정보 보호 정책을 고려하여 서비스를 운영하되, 각 외부 서비스 자체의 장애, 정책 변경, 처리 방식은 해당 제공자의 책임 영역에 따를 수 있습니다.
이용자는 자신의 개인정보에 대해 열람, 정정, 삭제 및 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 요청은 아래 방법으로 접수할 수 있습니다.

이용자는 앱 내 대화방 삭제 기능을 통해 문의 데이터를 삭제할 수 있으며, 해당 삭제는 운영상 보관되는 영역에도 반영될 수 있습니다.
개인정보 보유기간 경과 또는 처리 목적 달성 시 지체 없이 파기합니다.
전자적 파일 형태의 정보는 복구하기 어렵도록 삭제하며, 관련 법령에 따라 보관이 필요하거나 분쟁 대응, 부정 이용 방지, 보안 유지 등 정당한 사유가 있는 경우 필요한 범위 내에서 일정 기간 분리 보관될 수 있습니다.

You may request deletion through the in-app account deletion feature, by email, or through the in-app 1:1 inquiry feature.

Firebase Authentication account information, in-app 1:1 inquiry conversations and related inquiry data, and other app data directly related to account identification and service use may be deleted.
Required Terms and Privacy Policy consent history and guest notice acceptance history may be separately retained for five years after account deletion as minimal information, such as user identifier (uid), consent/notice type, version, and acceptance time, to prove consent or acceptance, comply with applicable laws, handle disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain security.
